Nardos joined Young Lives in 2010 and since then has been involved in planning and execution of fieldwork and engaged in data cleaning and data management. She has also presented papers at local and international platforms and authored and co-authored working papers and journal articles. Previously she worked with government, NGOs and the media. Nardos has an MA in Social Anthropology and BA in Foreign Languages and Literature from Addis Ababa University.

Her research Interests include child work and migration; conceptualisation of childhood; young peopleʼs risk and poverty; the agency of children; life course and trajectories of children and young people; young people’s bargaining power.
