Over the past year, the Young Lives Ethiopia team have been looking at the transitions between childhood and adulthood and how these are affected by poverty.

The publications are based on the fifth wave of Young Lives qualitative research carried out in 2019 and funded by UNICEF Ethiopia. The eight working papers and corresponding policy briefs were funded jointly by FCDO and UNICEF Ethiopia. The research seeks to understand what shapes the lives of young people in Ethiopia as they move through childhood and adolescence to young adulthood.
